  • hi sir..

may i ask something..im a newbie in terms of designing using adobe photoshop

what if i want those button whenever i click it..the link i input will appear not in different window but inside the same window..just like you dont have to go and click those new tabs but you will see those links in the same window.,

can you tell me what method is that? can you have tutorial for that?

hope you will grant my request..tnx

  • change the target to _parent instead of _blank

  • thank you sir.

  • hi i see in lot of movies that they can use .avi files in adobe imageready do you kno how?

  • I've done this in old Image ready 7.0 and you have to use the "Save Optimized" command to get the html and the images folder save out.

  • Yeah, but is there a way to publish it to a blog or do I have to have my own website so that I can upload the html AND the images in their respective folder in order for it to show up properly.

  • hi, what you are trying to make is an imagemap

Handy ImageMapper 1.01 can help you out a lot easyer then this.

Sliceing is pretty advanced, while image mapping is just making parts of a image "hyperlink-able" :)

its doable by hand, but this tool makes the HTML code for you

  • thank you

  • Hi, i haven't used ImageReady a lot but what you are trying to do can be done with Dreamweaver as well. You just specify the hotspots and you can add a link and publish it

  • my export button is gray, how do I fix this

  • don't u need adobe dreamweaver??

  • Just put .jpg on the end so you can upload it and then you cas put is to your blog.....

  • Not sure if it's the same procedure in Mac versions of PS, but in windows:

Open the file menu & click Save for Web and Devices

This will save an HTML file containing code for the sliced image as well as save the image slice files (for each slice) in the same folder as the original image file.
