I saw a TV interview several years ago when he was asked why he did such long concert sessions.
He paused, and replied that he owed it to the people who'd bought his records, attended his concerts, and made him wealthy.

I must of been at least 10 yrs old when i watched this. God i remember sitting with my dad getting all excited. Im a HUGE neil fan and next saturday ill be there at MANCHESTER watching the great performing at his best

This clip, my mum and her dad (my grandad) both watched back when this was live on TV, and i remember my mum even callin my grandad to ask him if he was watchin it lol.. my grandad died shortly after :( but my mum was glad he saw Neil on Des's show coz he was a fan of both :)
