Troy Polamalu didn't win Defensive Player of the year by doing nothing, actions speak louder then words he is considered the BEST by many people and was even praised by HALL OF FAMERS such as Warren Moon, Lynn Swann, Floyd Little, John Randle, James Loften and many more so fucc these dudes they just hate how much they hear Troy's name being brought up by there wives and daughters lmao

Troy just does what hes supposed to do..he plays deep when he has to play a cover two deep..if the coach dials up a play for him to cover the flat he does just that.

I'm a Steelers fan. Troy is overrated but not by as much as they say. He doesn't tackle well, and can get beat. But he is also an incredibly dynamic playmaker, and he can make plays that no one else can.

@Iamyourboo2 You clearly don't watch enough games. Every player, especially safeties will get beat or be in the wrong place when they have free roaming like Reed and Troy. I have probably watched every Steelers game the past 30 years and I have never seen anyone like him. He doesn't tackle well? Stop.

Granted, he gets an opportunity to tackle people in situations because of his daring playing style that nobody else could, but he does miss an awful lot of tackles regardless, because he is mostly looking to dive at their feet. I've seen it too many times this year. He makes great tackles, but misses a lot too. My point is that there are many better tackling safeties in the league. He's overrated but only because he is rated so highly, whereas

@SteelCurtain222 He is one of the better, not the best safety in the league. He does amazing things that nobody else can do but some of the other parts of his game are not at that same elite level.

@Iamyourboo2 really bro steelers record isnt good without him they lose almost evry game he isnt there, he makes big plays when he needs to, take the ravens for example ed reed was iced the whole game and polomalu sacked flacco for the fumble that set up the game winning drive he has had huge impacts, polomalu was used as another guy int he box as well
