If fredericton is your favourite city, even after 12 years, it's only because you can't make any friends, the city really has corrupted you. There's no culture, music scene, innovative anything...AND for those protesting that also, you're a hipster, everything's cool if you deem it so.

@tbow073 not knowing how long you lived here , i dont know why you feel the way you do, were you in a larger city that offered you more culturally before as for culture and music scene respectfully i disagree all i'm saying to you is, is to give it a chance it's not easy being an out sider but only you can change that after all not every one in any city should be painted with the same brush there are good people here as there are in any city hope this helps and you feel better,

Fredericton is a GREAT city. I lived there for 20+ years. Alot of Israelis living there too. I'm a natural born New Brunswicker. Went to school with people from all over the world. very diverse city.

for a small city it is very diverse respecting culture what i like about fredericton you don't have to go to far getting out of the city, reaching the walking trails and the light house by the saint john river one of my favorite spots.

@lov2aclr8 i would not say affordable a lot of people co habitate affordable housing\apartments i of the former are on the increase but so is the need, i would urge you to have a reasonable paying job to live in the capital city that said every thing else you have said about our capital city is a fair true accesement good luck.

I once heard that there was a clause that anyone selling that house was to leave the owl with the new owners and that the purchasers were 'asked' to continue the tradition of redressing it, etc! lol. Last year, the house sold and the owl is there no longer...
