@batman4oz--If you get a chance, you should really see the Rocky Horror Show play. The movie completely sucks in comparison to the play. I guess it's not for anything why it was a major box office flop when it first came out. I used to think RHPS was the greatest thing ever made but not anymore. I still like watching RHPS every now and then though to reminisce. The music still rocks!
It's an interesting song, but it's good it got cut because it would have been too much music and slowed the pace of the movie really bad if it were left in..... Poor Barry Bostwick. As an actor myself, I know it's disappointing when your stuff gets cut.
What I don't get is where it would have fit. Frank had told Riff that he was "coming" to find Rocky who had escaped. They were obviously done having sex at the point of the song, but Frank seems in no hurry to come find out what happened with Rocky.

Early in his career he was hesitant, understandably so, though he was great in this, he didn't want to be defined as an actor by this role alone. In the end, it might be good that he did that, he'e been able to enjoy a long career and play many different roles. Now that he is quite established, I'm glad that he's come around to accept rocky as a right of passage for many young people

I remember seeing this on the VHS version. Had Franky on the cover and the castle. I saw this and 'Super Heroes" as deleted scenes. And I watched this when I was 12. I'm 23 now.

@XxHannahRenaexX--That's an excellent response. Many have said that they've liked Shock Treatment better despite of how lame ST is just the same. ST will be 30 years old next year. The 2006 DVD release of that was better just the same. With RHPS releases, they keep re-using the same thing.

I know this song from The Rocky Horror Show....when it was a Play, at The Roxy, in Hollywood...Before it was a 'Picture!' Loved it on that soundtrack...nice to see it here and would love to see it restored in the film. Actually...the Original soundtrack is better than that of the film!

@batman4oz--If you get a chance, you should really see the Rocky Horror Show play. The movie completely sucks in comparison to the play. I guess it's not for anything why it was a major box office flop when it first came out. I used to think RHPS was the greatest thing ever made but not anymore. I still like watching RHPS every now and then though to reminisce. The music still rocks!

It's an interesting song, but it's good it got cut because it would have been too much music and slowed the pace of the movie really bad if it were left in..... Poor Barry Bostwick. As an actor myself, I know it's disappointing when your stuff gets cut.

What I don't get is where it would have fit. Frank had told Riff that he was "coming" to find Rocky who had escaped. They were obviously done having sex at the point of the song, but Frank seems in no hurry to come find out what happened with Rocky.

This WAS in the origianl version "midnight" version I saw in the lage 70's / early 80's before the theaters got picky about throwing toastcards and water ballons not to mention having a bunch of drunks running on and off the stage. Good Times!

Out of all the movies, plays, t.v. spots and voice overs he's done, RHPS seems to be the only thing people ever want to ask him about. He said he became pudgy on purpose to avoid being typecast.

@MikalaMusic122 I've actually seen a handful of interviews of him being more open about it in recent years. Early in his career he was hesitant, understandably so, though he was great in this, he didn't want to be defined as an actor by this role alone. In the end, it might be good that he did that, he'e been able to enjoy a long career and play many different roles. Now that he is quite established, I'm glad that he's come around to accept rocky as a right of passage for many young people
