Lets get this right, granted, Frank Lampard has scored more goals than Steven Gerrard and won more titles but in football language he is known as a "cheat" not a cheat in the sense he dives or fouls or anything like that, if you play a good level of football you will know what a true "cheat" is, he has mikel and essien doing the doggys for him to pop up with the goals and penalties and get the applause. Thats a cheat. Gerrard has carried Liverpool FC since 2005 and is a far better all rounder!

@Jayedwards1985 i completely agree mate,plus,lampard has scored more goals allright.but what matters is the importance and timing of the goals.lampard scored them when his team is already 3-0,4-0 up and that too against weak teams.gerrard scores important goals,makes himself counted,and scores in the big matches,fa cu final man of the match,champions league final man of the match,carling cup final man of the match.
And chelsea wanted gerrard even though they had fat frank already

@adambum666 Lampard has x3 premier league titles, x3 fa cups, x2 carling cups and x2 fa community shields and he has 228 career goals from midfield including 140 premier league goals and 85 premier league assists. Lampard scored the wining goal in the FA Cup Final and he scored a goal in the 2008 champions league final. By the way this is not a theory it's statistics which is fact. Get your facts straight.

@adambum666 Lampard came runners-up to Ronaldinho in the 2005 Fifa world player of the year and Ballon d'Or awards. Gerrard and Scholes haven't come third place in world player of the year. So doesn't dream. It's true he's better than those two you mention.

Steven Gerrard is a legend. He is the best soccer player in the world currently. Screw Messi, screw Drogba, it's Gerrard.
I'm 12 years old and I live in New York City.
The saddest thing is that everyone here likes what they call football, which is just their stupid copy of rugby and that sport where they use a bat (similar to cricket).
There is NO SOCCER! All they care about are shit sports.
I wish I lived in UK or have the US like soccer.

@MilesPwn You've got a home team in the New York Red Bulls. With Thierry Henry (who's getting some form back lately) & Juan Agudelo (only 17 but he's already turned in appearances for the senior USMNT), it's not doing poorly. MLS isn't the same as EPL & it never will be. But it's growing & getting better with each season; in my opinion, the more support it gets, the better it'll become.
Or you could come to Portland & see what a proper football-loving city in the U.S. is like! :P

@Akyro4fun all that is history and in black and white film most of it. Liverpool are a Europa League team and haven't won the premier league title in 20 odd years. Chelsea are the current English premier league champions and a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TEAM and Chelsea have won x3 premier league titles, x3 fa cups, x2 Carling cups and x2 fa community shields in the past 7 years.
So Chelsea are superior than Liverpool at this time. Liverpool are no where near our rivals not even close.

Frank Lampard has scored 276 goals in his footballing career (West Ham, Chelsea & England). Steven Gerrard has only scored 140 footballing career goals. Lampard has double that and far more assists and a better successful pass completion. So stats prove Lampard is a better player than Gerrard.

@coldassassin99 Lampard is English also Gerrard is English and they would rather win the English premier league title because the best team in the league always wins the premier league title and their team becomes the best team in England after 38 match's played. Even FC Porto have won the UEFA Champions League. But Frank Lampard has x3 premier league titles and x3 FA Cups, he has scored in the 2008 UCL final. Gerrard only has 1 UCL title and 2 FA Cups. Lampard has won the UEFA Cup as well.
