I kinda see what you mean.

But look at it this way.

The lightsaber falls into the category of bladed weapons and if it was real, It would obviously be the most dangerous and most powerfull bladed weapon known. Same goes with the caster only major difference is that it's a projectile. In other words the most common

weapons are projectles and blades of any sort

and the caster and lightsaber are th only ones of their types that can outdo their relatives. Sorry I tend to be a bit of a geek. ^_^

We all liked this anime because it was very original and it had more or less things compared to what other animes had.

And when you think about it, that Caster is like the lightsaber of guns! I'm Jelouse (in a good way) that whoever made this show had a Caster featured in this.

I wouldn't really consider the Caster a Lightsaber parallel. More of a Deus Ex Machina that's used by multiple characters.

honestly i alwayz watched anime since i waz like 4 but when outlaw star came out i waz about 7 n i fell in love n wen i got the money i bought it on dvd as soon az it waz released which bringz me 2 my 2nd point u repeated alot of scenes n used alot of opening credit footage which waz a let down derez alot more stuf u coulda added but keep up the good wrk
