  • Deanta, omg yes!

  • @elewis154 Well, actually, NO - it's not Deanta! It's Alastair McDonald, who lives & performs in Scotland. And who owns the copyright for "Culloden's Harvest".

  • @williebyron I knew he was first, but I didn't know he had it copyrighted. Well anyway I like Deanta better, but he was really good too.

  • Would be nicer if you attributed the song to the writer - Alastair McDonald (who is still alive & writing & performing in Scotland today!) Alastair's much more stirring version of his own song - "Culloden's Harvest" - can be found at Treblestring's channel. Also accessible via my playlist. ENJOY!!

  • @williebyron

    Thanks for supplying this information!

  • @MakalaureCanafinwe Was glad to give you the right steer. But you don't seem to have corrected your attributions - you still have it wrongly labelled as Deanta/trad. (Including in the LOTRO songbook, as I've discovered.) There is a copyright issue here - Alastair McDonald via his Corban Recordings company owns it! Just a thought.

  • nice job! *****
