I was wondering about your rear suspension. Why was it necessary to move the struts forward? Couldn't you have simply used a shorter (custom) drive shaft?

@jman9295 nope. if i do that i have to made a custom drive shaft and tailing arms. that will be bad cuz if u dont do the right work on them your car may run cricket. so i chose to moved the struts 3 inch backward.

Everything was going fine until the Integra front end was installed. It ruined the whole look. At least, please tell me, that you swapped the head to a B16 VTEC. Adding an extra transmission is not only making the car heavier, it also is adding more gear reduction translating into more loss of power. Adding a VTEC head would validate the sticker on the quarter panel and make up for the lost power. Adding a turbo would make it a beast.

@jman9295 ok first of all the crv driveline doesnt use two transmissions or even a transfer case. it uses a 3rd differential. and gear reduction doesnt mean power loss. its a gain in torque, increased torque means more get up and go off the line. not to mention that the crv is much heavier in the first place than a fully gutted EG hatch which only weighs around 2300 lbs stock with full interior. also with building a B16 VTEC, they will have no problems with the car performing

@SeyzLife44 I know its not a 2nd transmission, but the total weight added is just about the same: driveshaft + 2 rear axle shafts + 2nd diff and housing = weight of a 2nd tranny or more. And how do you figure that it ADDS TORQUE? Anytime power has to be transferred through anything after the crank, there is power loss. Your trying to tell me that a differential is not gear reduction? The axle shafts alone are causing tq loss due to length just like an impact tool w/ an extension.

@SeyzLife44 ok and 2nd of all, if this car had only a B16A and no AWD, it would be much, much, much, much, WAYYYYY faster off the line. Unless he turbocharges it. Armchair racer. If I added the CRV drivetrain to my EG hatch w/ B18C5, it would probably only be as fast as a my EG with the original D16 in it. Yeah it would jump off the line a hair faster, but the 1/4 mile will suffer because of more weight and power loss through more gears.

@jman9295 you quite obviously have absolutely no idea of gear ratios and how they affect torque and speed. any time you have a small gear driving a larger gear, you get a gear reduction which equals a torque multiplication through the driveline. and also being that probably close to 800 pounds has been taken out of the car, you have some room to work with before it even becomes an issue of added weight. and im not an armchair racer. i have real world high performance experience.

@jman9295 so before you go arguing with someone who knows more than you and has actually had transmissions apart and knows how to calculate torque ratios and gear ratios, just do some research. and as far as the whole torque wrench with an extension analogy, that too is wrong. it just takes more preload to apply the effective torque. try a little experiment, get 2 sweep type torque wrenches and a series of long extensions and apply torque to one and see how much torque you read on the other one

it took me almost 4 months to get this build ready cuz theres a lot of welding, measuring and getting the few extra parts that u need. the best way to strat is getting a 98-01 honda crv 5 speed complete car so that way he will have like 80% of the parts that he'll need for this. will check his channel.
