Good job! You're a great teacher, hope to see more videos up soon. My dad wants to learn to play the djembe and I have two but I'm no good at teaching thanks & one question do you edit these videos yourself if so what program or software do you use?
@ezeroh1 thank you, I did the editing with Magix Video video deluxe 15. Magix is the only software I know, witch you can mix up to 99 videotracks together.
What kind of mics would you recommend for live performance? Do you mic the bottom as well for the low end? I'd love to speak with you about the possibility of using a mixer or effects pedal on my drums. It's something i've always wanted to do, but I can't seem to find anyone who has done it. Have you?
@WHITEbutFUNKY I use for reccording two Audio Technica Pro 35 clipmics. One overhead at the rim and one at the low end (inside). I think these mics are perfect for live-gigs. They have mini-XLR-connetions, so you can use transitters to be without cables.
@WHITEbutFUNKY- I use for the time Audix i5 it works amazing and for the bottom i use a bata 57. you can use effects on ur drum i can tell u how to do it
AWESOME lesson!!!! I have been teaching myself for 6 months now, and your video is one of the best that I have found on Youtube. THAN YOU......please make more!
