In Spain, Italy, and Greece it is very visible that a lot of these people have darker skin than other parts of Europe. It is obvious that their ancestors slept with a darker race to become dark.

@Arabman666 well I don't know if I'd call them "white" per se. Or not all of them. I'm sure some of them looked quasi dark European, or sure. But I'm talking in general. The whole point is that Moors were NOT "Caucasians", in that sense. Some where paler than others. But basically Arabic-ish looking. Not much different than today. Meaning, again, Moors were neither "black" NOR "white" (in the Caucasian sense). Shakespeare called ANYONE "black" who was Arabic looking. Or "olive" complexion.

Well, I was speaking from a purely genetic perspective. Moors probably did mix significantly with neighboring Libyans, who do and have always looked identical to inner-peninsula Arabians. And even when I say white, I don't mean "English."
Yes, people don't really understand the categorization of easterners and north Africans in a historical sense. The only image of black-moors exists in Europe, not in historic documentation or even history statues. Sadly, few understand this.

Like I said earlier, Arabians and Blacks (Muslim generals and commanders) lead a large amount of Berbers (who are the actual Moors, and genetically white) due to the command chain. Thus, the Moors were mistaken for "Blacks" and even "Arabs" when the truth is, they are Neither. They appear more similar to Arabs, however they are whiter, and have have a mixed origin.

They are mixed with ancient Phoenicians. As you know, historically, the Phoenicians took their armies by ships to Tunisia (Carthage) and built the city up. The Phoenicians are "Northern Arabians" and are not white. They are essentially modern day Syrians. These people built the city of Carthage, which the Berbers eventually populated. So among the Berber population of areas in Tunisia, there are some Phoenician genes in the mix.

No, the Arabs were never in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Arabs however, did gain their allys in Sudan and Southern Egypt, who are Black. These men joined the Muslim Armies, and rose in the ranks to chiefs and commanders. As Islam spread, any Muslim-Africans in Sub Saharan Africa would have also participated in the military campaigns of the Muslims.
But Northern Africa is a totally different, unrelated story. Its like how "Whites" are called Ayrians, even though it means Persian.

the problem with people is that they can't wrap their minds around the fact that the "Moors" were NOT "black" in the Denzel Washington or Wesley Snipes looking sense. (Even a couple of thousand years ago.) Moors were basically ARAB SADDAM HUSSEIN LOOKING. Neither white nor black, but somewhere in between. What you need to do is prove conclusively (and NO Afro-Centrist person ever has...) that EVERY SINGLE MOOR WAS WESLEY SNIPES BLACK. North Africans were NEVER black like that. The accounts written by the French and Spaniards identify the Moors and the later arabs who came in 150 or so years later. They were described and depicted differently.
