My friends father grew up in Onawa His grandfather ran the Onawa station. Too bad they tore down the Onawa station and water tower they were beautiful structures. The other end of the lake is also posted by someone who bought a bunch of land from Intl. Paper. Forced the locals away from the land they grew up on and lived off. It's too bad that these once beautiful and secluded places are being taken away and posted by people, preventing future generations from experiencing the wilderness.

My dad has a camp not too far from there and we went on the trestle but i got scared and didn't even make it half way. Im afraid of hieghts. And i ended up dropping my camera off the bridge. The beginning of a bad day. Butwat amazing sights. Love it
