GSP is very athletic, if not to say thin compared to other guys in his weight class. Doesn't hurt him at all though.

Anderson Silva however does have a little belly when he is not in "fighting shape", so he probably has to cut perhaps 10kg. (or a bit more, if its mostly water)

Silva would probably GSP for 2 reasons : the first is because he is taller and the second is because GSP would have to gain weight and then lose some quickness.

your completely wrong 1st gsp's natural weight is 185 he cuts weight to fight he said in an interview that he walks around at 185 and height has nothing to do with anything. the only reason people think tall guys are better are cause they have a reach advantage(most of the time)

If GSP wanted to actually be competitive against the best in the MW division he would have to do it right and put on some muscle mass, as he has stated. And the 3" reach disadvantage sure doesnt help GSP against a devistating striker like Silva.....

Yes pierre is a stud and easily the second pound for pound best fighter but he would have his hands full with silva who is bigger and taller with more reach. Its a dream fight who I believe will happen sometime after ufc 100.....dana will make it happen

I don't believe GSP against Anderson Silva would be a "no contest" at all. I admit GSP is my favorite fighter, and I believe he would most likely take Anderson Silva on the ground. Both guys are top notch on stand-up, but if GSP didn't take him standing, then he would take him on the ground, no doubt in my mind. It may be "no contest" for Anderson Silva on the ground.
