He is better than Lil Wayne And Half of these rappers that have all this auto tune bubble gum ass raps sh!t.... A+ was always good I had a few of his singles back in the day ... Good Hip Hop !!!
Kids like this used to roam the streets, waiting for their chance at stardom. not no more, these kids today are either too immature to grow musically, or they feminine.
You couldn't play in the studio back in the day, that was unheard of. NOW, you got a buncha "kinder-gardeners" playin with the mixing board, fucin up the compression settings...*sighs*, dedication to music has died.
@outlawstarr417 You said it str8 up. True hip hop (in the mainstream at least) faded away around late '96, Pac n Big passed, Puff started appearing all over the shitty TV all the time, wiggers took over Hip Hop hard!!! It used to be SO FCUKING GOOD!!
The Smith Brothers, some unknown cats, produced the majority of his songs. A+ wrote his own rhymes. He won a Def Jam contest back in the day, that's how he got noticed and a deal. That's also were the big name rappers on his first album saw him and jumped on the chance to do a song with him. They didn't call him a child prodigy for nothing.
