The thickness of your string in relation to the size of the bubble you are trying to create (size of the bubble being dictated by the size of the triangular opening created by the string), isn't conducive to creating a strong bubble because they are not proportional to one another. Thicker string, that is not water-soluble, should support bigger and better bubbles with a higher frequency of success for that string-triangle's dimensions.
