I hadn't heard of this happening until it happened to me whilst driving down the motorway. Insurance have written my car off! Apparently all clios were recalled for repair back in 2005 to have the latch replaced. Mine hadn't been replaced. Complaints to Renault me thinks! They ain't getting away with this! Me or someone else driving on the motorway at the time could have been killed!!!!
I'd be interested to know who approached who about this. Did Iain give it the old, "Do you know who I am?" from Iain, before he approached Watchdog? Or did Watchdog approach him for the show and ask if he had any problems with any companies? I bet he got paid a pretty penny for this too. bascially, the guys that look at your claim get more money if they give out less claims.
They have bonus's, and targets and promotions and infighting and office pollitics. All that are there to see that you, me and everyone single person do not get any payout unless it is 100% legally FORCED. There are no more true men, like me

This was a real coup for Iain.
