There was a time I would log into WoW even if I was bored of the grind because of the effort Blizzard put into the little things, like the music. Even WOTLK had those awesome "wow" factors that held nice little surprises behind every turn. It wasn't perfect, but it was sure as hell the next best thing. WOTLK was not that great in gameplay, but that was still okay. Cata is not good in gameplay, and it has nothing newly creative to offer. WoW is dead to me now.

Kara, I miss the old place, I still run it now and then with 2 friends for money, but it's not the same because of the nerf it got when wotlk came out.

Back in BC, if you had full t6 or equivalent, you could 3 man about half the instance, but this was still a fun place to be...

TBC was almost easy compared to classic world of warcraft. Imagine to coordinate 40 people to do different things at all times.. Ever tried the twin emperors as 70 or 80 even?

It has been proven numerous times that fight mechanics were harder in TBC and even harder now in WotLK

That may be very well so, but as I said, coordinate 40 people is much harder than coordinating 10 people, and make them memmorise the battle in a whole, then move to 25 man, where everyone has done it before, just in a easier way, now you don't really have those huge challenges where 40 people run around and causing whipes, for instance in onyxia, if one person went down to the eggs, by fear for instance, it could very well mean the end for 39 other people. Now it's most likely only 9 othersish

imho. Hardest raid was Naxx40 (not the nerfed version in WotLK). Hardest (but could be defeated) raid boss was Muru before his giant nerf.

@lolololcake C'thun pre nerf was physically impossible. For bosses and raids that were actually possible Naxxramas 40 man was the hardest. And IMO Kel'thuzad was the hardest boss fight. Then M'uru pre nerf, then Four Horseman. However if old Naxx was a 25 man then I would have to say pre nerf M'uru was harder.

Naxx has been so boring and generally the raiding scene has just dropped down in wotlk. Quitting wow myself due having no more interest nor time for raiding.
