i work at starbucks, and there isn't anything wrong with giving your kid a latte. the amount of caffeine in that little cup won't do any harm to the kid.
they don't need it, but giving a kid one latte isn't going to hurt them. really, candy is exactly as harmful to a child as a latte would be, and i don't see anyone telling parents that giving their children candy every now and then is a horrible decision.
