Roger is one of the great movers and shakers of the 20th Century. Saw him in little old St Albans last night - what a privilege. Thanks for being so humble and modest and giving such pleasure to your fans.
I saw him in at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO in 2003 and this is how he played this song. It was an awesome show for only $15. I bought a ticket for my buddy.
MCGUINNIFIC!

I've always been impressed by his playing on this tune but hearing him do it on solo guitar is something else, like a raga.

Roger McGuinn is SO underated!

This song is a " Force of Nature ".
It's still very inspiring after all these years to hear it and see Roger play it.
I don't know anyone on Earth who can play this song as well as Roger McGuinn.

The intro reminds me of Robbie Krieger's playing at the beginning of the Doors' song, "Spanish Caravan". Love it.

I think he's deliberately playing the same song.
Spanish caravan is derived from a spanish classical peiece
"Asturias," a Classical piece by Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz (1860 - 1909).
Sharp ears.

Nice, I did not know that. Thanks for the insight!

Roger has such endurance to finger pick an entire 6-minutes through like this. And best of all...he doesn't miss a beat. Truly a master of his art.
