How do you play it?

Option A:

Play the bass (lowest note) with left hand and then cross finger for the G-clef?

or Option B

play the all of the notes in f0clef with left hand and the G-clef with the right?

I think it will be impossible to play if Option B. The duration of the first note at f-clef is eight note and you will need to "hold" it until the second note. Plus, the second note to the end of the phrase is legato so you cant play the octave because the next notes will be "detached".

La tonalità d'impianto è il re minore, anche se il tema è in la minore.

Preferisco di gran lunga la prima versione, è più "oscura" e misteriosa; la seconda, secondo me, non è ben riuscita: non capisco perché abbia aggiunto quella coda strampalata!

Comunque, devo ammettere che l'Introduzione e l'esposizione del Tema di questo Notturno sono memorabili, una delle melodie più belle di tutta la produzione lisztiana :)
