i felt that i was alone in the world wanting to be like the people that i saw to be great, either way i watched your movie and i want to say it was very good and your message is even better , im only 20 and by no means on any kind of drug i just thought it was good to know thank you
My favorite part is when he asks the olympic coach if he has seen a lot of steroid use in weightlifting and the coach just laughs.....that says it all right there.
This documentary has really intrigued me beyond the capabilities I expected and possibly near the most I have ever been by any piece of work.. The incredible personal connection, involved with the physical and social correlation makes this almost too overwhelmingly thoughtful and changes in the way you view public figures.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to know the painful reality of america and the human race
great great movie! very educational. i sew it in my home lend israel (via the web) and it realy moved me (im emffasising that it goes throw the colteral difreances)
i would love to chat with you. im writing a scrept for a comedy. - or sher (from israel, the guy with the funny hair) on fb. eny ways, if yes great, if not its also o.k.. you did a great job!
Just watched the film and it was really good. The only issue I had was that he did not address the psychological issues behind his brothers Steroid use. Both of his brothers state that their families are of primary importance but they lie to their parents and their own families consistently. They are putting a hobby or personal pursuit before their relationships. It feels and looks a lot like addiction. Not saying that they are addicted to Steroids but to the lifestyle. Reminiscent of a gambler.
This documentary was REALLY REALLY good. Though it did have a clear pro steroid slant, it still provided a very clear picture and I learned a little about America.
People want to believe that steroid are evil and people that take them are "cheating" well im telling anyone to try them and see what happens.. Nothing!! it's not magic you have to put the 3 hours a day in the gym and eat right.. It's a complete lifestyle not just a magic shot or pill... Steroids did not make arnold or Bonds great they were great because they had the talent. Why is it that thousands of baseball players or Bodybuilders used roids but none are close to Bonds or Arnold?????????
I'm not sure you have the best handle on what steroids actually do. If they did nothing, no one would take them. But obviously you're not gonna balloon into Bonds overnight.
@Biggerb225 They're not "evil" and they may not even be bad for you (the benefits may outweigh the costs of using them)... but if there is an understanding of the rules (no performance enhancing drugs), and you violate that rule, then it IS cheating. Cheating is a matter of perspective.
Chris bell is NOT on steroids, however his brothers both are. Typicaly if someone is willing to take the medical risks of using roids they're going to bust their ass in the gym 10 times as hard as most people who don't. So you probably just a pussy hiding behind "oh, i just won't use steroids; that's why i'm not as big" NO! it's because you a retarded, dumbass, lazing fucking pussy! I'm not using, but i know hwat it means, you should figure it out.
find it funny his voice doesnt fit him but he is awesome

Shit steroids should be legal. Countries in Europe are advancing in modern medicine because it is LEGAL!

True, but the point is, it works for some, not all.
Elmeromero1 3 years ago
It works for everyone who uses them properly. But you cant buy talent, if thats what you're thinking.
manacor11 3 years ago 3
Oh I agree, what I meant was that not everyone is going to receive a COMPLETELY similar result.
Elmeromero1 3 years ago
@TheCinemaSource There are guys who want just big biceps and pecs, go to the gym every day do flyes and curls and use steroids.
they are hardly buff at all
