Fish for sport not food!!!!!! I wish more people would release more fish including those that are not protected. This fishery was all but non existent 25 years ago. If fisherman start to protect the fish then the government would not need to get involved in closing fisheries like they are in California right now.

Looks easy, in fact pulling that fish up in 30 sec makes it look super easy. Then you step up and give it a try. These fish will humble any fisherman and anyone who has hooked one of the monsters has enough respect for the fish and the angler than to talk smack. I suggest if it looks that easy you need to book a trip with Capt Ben and become part of the Goliath club. A bit like saying how easy it is to beat Tito Ortiz and never having stepped in the cage.
