Actually, you are correct, despite being maybe 8 years old JuDgInG by your AcCeNt. . He has no idea. The water is OK but he cranks it hotter, he cracks straight into the water rather than using a cup etc, no mention of white vinegar, no cover on the pot. No wonder the eggs looked like crap. Chef, stop playing at video production. Your calling may be standup slapstick comedy. Ooops - you weren't trying? Oh...
