I've seen this film and its plot doesn't tally with the girl's narration in the trailer. There is no italian guy who wants the girl to move to California. He is just a client of her in a short scene. Maybe some scenes were deleted during the postproduction.

Tale Nina Ivanišin je res hudo seksi... Čeprav, v resnici, če se pol ure sprehajaš po Ljubljani vidiš vsaj 10 boljših punc...Ampak nekaj je na njej, mogoče to da izgleda bolj zrela za svoja leta ali pa to da se (v svojih vlogah) rada nastavlja starejšim dedcem...

Great movie, i rented it from a library in US. Really surprising to find it in US, hope more people watch it, it's so touching with its poingnancy, cruelty, melancholy and good acting...so non-american, loved it.

I remember watching a Croatian movie many years ago called 'When the Dead Start Singing', a dark comedy. It's interesting to see movies like that one and 'Slovenka' about life in countries recently independent from Yugoslavia.
