  • and if you just smoke it, it decreases your chance (:

  • youtube is force fed speculation everyday, and the main word in this video is "may".

  • Dude.... at 0:34 That guy looks like Mr. Rogers!!!

  • haha i saw a fukin stupid anti drug video saying that marijuana gives people cancer

  • no one ever beleives me when i tell them canabanoids kill cancer

  • @TheGreenbongman420 Dude IKR? I am arguing with bible thumpers on facebook they said I am disgusting for thinking such a thing and that only prescription drugs are good and they give glory to god and I will face "666" if I don't agree with them...

  • @FromDreamz2Reality ha who cares what they say i beleive marijuana is a mirracle medicine thats suposed to be here for a reason i mean shit it even says to smoke weed in the bible.

  • MARIJUANA IS KING

  • Yeah, those cancer cells are so fuckin high, they forgot to spread.

  • c'mon be real i doubt it can cure cancer, itll just make you forget you have it

  • @idiolectmang my mom had cancer 5 years ago, she's still alive, cause she took my grandpas advice of ingesting cannabis, my grandpa also had cancer in mexico back in the 70s and did the same, and now hes 86 and is still alive,

  • ron paul 2012!!!!!!

  • Part 2: To summarise, there is no CURE for Cancer and there never will be, as long as our cells reproduce Cancer will eventually appear, with 100% chance of Cancer as cells near their ~120 year maximun lifespan. Cannabis is just another TREATMENT and not CURE, So I would appreciate if people did not go around giving people false hope of a cure for an inevitable condition, even if all cancer cells commit suicide the parent cell with short telomeres will reproduce and Cancer will just start again.

  • @ZelatorUK The parent cell with short telomeres would also be killed by ceramide induction from a cannabinoid receptor agonist, since it's a faulty cell lacking in protective kinase checkpoints. People have already cured their cancer with cannabis oil, as presented in "Run from the Cure" documentary. The cannabinoid agonists inhibits tumor angiogenesis also by activating the CB receptors and they arrest the cell cycle of cancer cells by stimulating the ERK 1/2 pathway to induce p27.

  • @zekdom do you have a link for an unbiased source that is neither from pro or anti Cannabis supporters that proves what you just said?

  • @ZelatorUK I have peer-reviewed articles elaborating on how cannabinoid receptor agonists only kill transformed tissue, while not inducing apoptosis in non-transformed tissue, and how they arrest the cell cycle. You'll have to read all of these:

    J Biol Chem. 2002 Sep 27;277(39):36527-33. Epub 2002 Jul 19.

    Trends Pharmacol Sci. 2001 Jan;22(1):19-22.

  • @zekdom

And in the last 5 years?

  • @Cosmonauteable Last 5 years of what, specifically?

  • Part 1: I don't want to sound like an Anti-Cannabis morality pusher, but people seem to forget how cancer works, the reason Cancer exists in the first place is because of telomere shortening, cells can only reproduce a limited amount of times before the "buffer DNA/Telomeres" run out. When the cells reach hayflicks limit, a cell has 2 choices, commit programmed suicide for the greater good or become immortal and unstable (Cancer).

  • I have a question... Perhaps I haven't understood all of it, but why does THC kill cancer cells instead of all others too?

  • @OneTrickPony33 Well, according to the Biological Chemistry Journal 2002, once ceramide (the fatty substance that cannabinoid agonists, like THC, induce in cancer cells to promote cell death), by itself, was administered to astrocytes (brain cells), the brain cells died. Then, once THC and ceramide were administered at the same time, THC protected against ceramide production by activating the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B pathway. Cancer cells lack these kinases.

  • @OneTrickPony33 It only kills cells that do not promote sustainaibily of the host. You can think of d9thc as an antioxident, basically.

  • Just saw some Churchofscientology anti-drugs video, and even though that I for a example is against Crack, they make a rubbish point of argument. Most of the videos are rubbish and completly wrong. Why the fuck do they even exsist?

  • Tobacco dosent cure shit but weed can cure cancer yet it's still illegal....

  • @rocker4tsla Because it is shown to cause brain developmental problems in teens as well as increased chances of Schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. Also it increases the chance of heart attack. And last but not least it contain 50-70 percent more hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke, so in theory weed smoke is more lethal than tobacco.

Just to name a few of the negative effects of weed.

  • @futureman1400 Various Medical sites, and where do you get your facts from? Youtube?

  • @Illier1 Part 2) *1,913 I didn't insert a comma previously, my bad. Well, now let's look to the reason as to how the cannabinoids actually appear to be helpful in cardiovascular complications, mitigating the negative effects of smoke to the point of only expediting heart rate, but not much else. According to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology 2010, CBD attenuates cardiac dysfunction, oxidative stress, fibrosis, and cell death signaling pathways in diabetic cardiomyopathy.

  • @Illier1 Part 1) According to the Archives of General Psychiatry 2009, THC is anxiogenic, but CBD is anxiolytic. In theory, all we would need to do is legalize and regulate it to balance the THC:CBD ratio. Now, according to the Drug & Alcohol Reviews 2004 and the Prescrire International Journal 2011, over a 40 year period in Australia of increased cannabis use was not accompanied by an increase in schizophrenia rates, from the 70's the current 2011.

  • @Illier1 Part 2) I have yet to see a study that adjusted for confounding factors, such as alcohol use, environmental factors and tobacco use, to prove that marijuana causes brain developmental problems and depression for teens. I'll have to continue on to the next post...Running out of room.

  • @Illier1 Part 3) True, the European Respiratory Journal 2008 has stated that marijuana smoke contains more carcinogens than tobacco smoke. However, the Archives of Internal Medicine and the CMA Journal 2009 reported that, compared to tobacco users, marijuana users don't experience significant airway obstruction. This is due to cannabis smoke being the only smoke that contains anti-inflammatory, broncodilating cannabinoids that dilates the bronchial airways to significantly prevent tar

  • @Illier1 Part 4) Cont... significantly preventing tar deposits from entering the alveoli. And the anti-inflammatory properties of the cannabinoids in cannabis smoke, according to the European Respiratory Journal 2010, prevents the smoke from damaging the small airways, and damage of the small airways is a marker for COPD. And the anti-inflammatory cannabinoids significantly prevents substances from causing the airways to narrow. Cannabis is a fairly benign drug, overall ;)

  • @zekdom And what of the cardiac arrest? you missed that part...

  • @Illier1 Oh right, I did miss that part. Well, according to the American Heart Journal 2008, amongst a study of 1913 adult patients hospitalized with myocardial infarction, marijuana use appears to pose an elevated moderately significant risk for people with cardiovascular problems. Importantly, the study also noted that among other populations, those without cardiovascular problems, were not at increased risk (mortality) when using marijuana.

  • 1:00

    thank you

  • move the fucking mouse

  • Too much of anything is still bad for you. This isn't an excuse to get high, even if it is true that the drug kills cancer cells. Getting high is still a very real risk, and can be deadly if in large dosages.

  • @ZenkiAzure you can never be tooo high with marijuanna. haha

  • @jeveeghuurl Like I said, it can be deadly... if you aren't high enough! o3o

  • @ZenkiAzure Really? I would like to know where you got that information? It's impossible to overdose marijuana!

  • @Triickz94 Actually I was talking about the risks of the influence caused by the drug. I could be wrong, not having actually done it myself. :3

  • @ZenkiAzure It takes roughly 1500 grams of weed to be inhaled in less then 15 minutes for someone to overdose.

  • @TexasB666 you are correct my friend. You are correct.

  • Our generation should be thankful, because we now live in an "explosive-information" era. Thanks to the internet i'm informed what cancer is and what can be done with it. My brother has cancer (and he still has a long way to go) but is doing very well because of alternative medicine. It boggles the mind how this financial system works all across the world. These people who try to "control" this are fucking psycho's. They should take some psychedelics and smoke some weed more often, they are sick

  • Fricken cool.

  • Its not the only plant that does this. Check out devils horse whip

  • It all sounds too good to be true...but then i remember...if it is...then the drug war, The Pharmaceutical Industry, and the Inflated Police force in America all make sense. We've literally manufactured our own problems. Un-fucking believable. Only in America right?

  • @drpeppa2357 well for this it's worldwide

  • "PROOF that Marijuana MAY cure cancer"....

Faceplamed right there. "Proof that it may, possibly, potentially cure cancer...maybe."

    LOL

I'm all for weed but lame title.

  • the mexican cartel is bringing all this SHIT! :l

  • @ItsMySexyLooks -.- MAN SDFU ONE SECOND please

  • @bloodyangel5463 its you fucking MEXICANOS!!!

  • @ItsMySexyLooks -.- Son of bitch I did not talk to you mother fucker USA ballsack between Im Canadian and Canada fucks USA

  • @bloodyangel5463 isnt that embarrasing thats were thatt justin biber came from...CANADA. thats right!!lall you bitches are gaylords!

  • @ItsMySexyLooks justin brings money to us shit hahahahahh so ur gay fans can see him because we dont need him anymore us shit was like give us justin beaver if u dont want him anymore

  • @bloodyangel5463 I did not understand.Lol.Your high.

  • I will live 4 ever!

  • i have the skill i have the power, i am haramitayso

  • proof is in the pudding... my mind is like crumpled tin foil smooth as silk

  • aids is a prayer to die...

  • my skeet do june is power

  • beyond time. the tigger, doyle hickman

  • i tell my cells not to eat the tar, yet to push it out, to teach with

  • learn the healthy factors of your natural cannabanoidal receiver, study the zazen of taisen deshimaru. the truest healer of the 20th century

  • cancer is basically a belief system then.... duhhhh... prayer is = to marijuana? no prayer causes no paranoia

  • free the seed like johhny apple seed

  • itys illegal cause they know weed helps people but they want us to die and spend money on dumb ass drugs cause they make more money that way i mean i can get more fucked up of nightquil then i could from weed i meam come on you cant die from weed

  • this footage is from a documentary called:Clearing the Smoke: The Science of Cannabis.

I don't know if anybody already said it but i wanted to share this with the people that are interested in the truth about cannabis instead of the propaganda misinformation.

  • THAT... FUCKING... CURSOR...

  • i kept on moving my mouse...

  • so weed could cure leukemia?

  • The only problem with this is that Congress aren't a bunch of medical wizzes and have no interest in making Marijuana legal. They are thinking more about the cons instead of the pros. People are dying because of Cancer and we finally found something that just opened an amazing door to curing other cancers. Yet the federal government doesn't wanna touch this subject because the drug is illegal. Yet their are other drugs that are legal and do extensive amount of damage to the body unlike Marijuan

  • @Lexxikiins the federal government isn't avoiding the subject because marijuana is illegal, they're avoiding the subject because their bosses the megaconglomerates don't want to give up the cancer industry, or risk losing some of those helpful donations by mexican drug cartels and big pharma

  • I am at high risk for developing melanoma. Could someone please tell me if smoking marijuana could cure it? Or if I had brain cancer? What I'm trying to ask is if you had skin cancer and the THC entered through your lungs, would it make its way to your skin and kill cancer cells there, or would you need an injection or something? I want to know because I would be more than happy to self medicate ;) Really though, I've heard chemo is awful.

  • @wiscoeffyea Smoke marijuana? No. Ingesting cannabis oil or rubbing the cannabis oil on your skin? Yes.

  • @zekdom Thanks for responding :) What about brain cancer? Would I have to ingest cannabis oil, or smoke?

  • @wiscoeffyea For brain cancer, ingesting cannabis oil or inhaling the cannabinoids via a vaporizer would be best. I'll send you a link concerning two little girls with brain cancer that inhaled the cannabinoids, which led to regression in the size of their brain tumors.

  • the cells commit suicide :o

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers Yea yea your name tells more about you then you can tell about cancering cure. You are narrowminded. You are afraid from what you don't know, and you think that your way of thinking is the only right way. It's people like you they should put under the ground just because you are wasting my precious air. Why do we keep morons like that alive, All they do is polluting my environment.. I'm asking you guys... why the hell do we keep morons like him alive????

  • @Mr2InFeCTeD They are alive because bankers get paid more for having more people alive, and, these bankers control usa so that's why we've been fucked for so long.

  • @zekdom there is no medical use for marijuana, yours truly, deeEA

  • @maptlbh :)

  • @maptlbh there is no use for you in this world ha?!

  • I really don't think it does. I wish I was smarter so I could try to cure. Right now I wouldn't know where to start. I hope doctors are close to finding a cure.

  • @04ray25number2 According to the Child's Nervous System Journal 2011, two little girls with astrocytoma (brain cancer) inhaled the cannabinoids (Vaporizer ftw!), and the MRI scans presented how the tumors only regressed in size when the cannabinoids, like THC and CBD, were inhaled. So yeah, the cannabinoids do kill cancer cells, and I can explain it more properly to you. Well, that is, if you're interested in learning about the anti-neoplastic properties of the cannabinoids.

  • @zekdom This is NOT true. THC does NOT cure cancer or reduce pressure for those with glackoma, reduce other types of pain, inhibit nausia or cause cravings to eat. Therefore, it is a schedule one drug. YOurs truly, DEA

  • @maptlbh You should probably spend more time reading about THC instead of dissing it. Grow up man, you really gunna believe everything the government says is right? Maybe you should just light up a joint so you can unclog all the bullshit the government has built up in your brain. Develop your own mind instead of letting someone do it for you.

  • @CodyJacobLarson FACT is that this government cares more for the bankers (by proof, i cite the continued existence of the federal reserve that is putting usa into debt and the fact that a "miracle" drug like weed is bad, with no medical uses, per schedule 1 of DEA.....but...it's good when big pharma makes a synthetic version and then it becomes perfectably acceptable for medical use). Basically, u will have to excuse the scarsasim in my comment u replied to.

  • @CodyJacobLarson

And are you really go to belive what your "friends" and the internet say,

Why do you think weed/THC is good for you?, its NOT ! lmao ,

    weed makes you lazy

    coke makes you motivated

  • @c0ncerta and it can make you a bit fucked up, but it looks like also being the cure for cancer if you look at the tests that have been carried out on animals and what not. plus why do you think ganja smokers get less cancer than normal smokers?

  • @c0ncerta cocaine is extremely toxic. cocaine makes you "motivated" by stimulating certain receptors in the brain. it lasts but 30 minutes at a time, thus provoking users to consume more, increasing the legitimate risk of over dose. no one has or ever will OD on cannabis. the fact that cannabis is schedule I while cocaine is schedule II shows the inherent racism in the system. (white wealthier ppl use cocaine whereas more brown people use cannabis) go with the safer choice; smoke a blunt

  • @enceph7

Ok, cocaine is over rated and I think there are better drugs to replace it such as Ritalin, concerta, adderal, etc . I was on Ritalin 60mg for 7 years and not once I have had a problem with it, It changed my life for the good, If I was not on Ritalin I would be dead or living on the streets , Ritalin got me an awesome job, friend, a wife and a good life !

Also, yeh no shit u can OD on cannabis, can u OD on nicotine?, no you just get liver cacner, etc!

  • @c0ncerta OD on weed? I have never heard of that or even come close my self!

  • @WarlDogg

Wait, well you even need to OD on weed to get bad effects, it just cases lung cancer an

  • @c0ncerta an....? couses of a disease is not a over dose!

  • @enceph7 is that street coke or chewing on a leaf like puting in a dip or chew which would be the natural state of the plant?...they are two dif things.

  • Comment removed

  • bull shit

  • @NubCaiks Rick Simpson. Run for The Cure. Cured his cancer with hemp oil.

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers right because if the doctors do that they will also lose money from seeing their patients, stop being such a retard

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers Uhm did you see this video in the news? i dont think you did dumbass, if the govt allowed this vid to be on the news, you know how much money pharmacys would lose from thier patients switching to marijuana rather than a life time supply of pills? marijuana can remove thousands of different 'medicines' in just 1 bud, thats billions of dollars for pharmacys every day/week/month they arnt ready for that.

  • @TechnoB0T Dozens of reasons and not a one of them are good.

  • mr Rogers!

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers Tell you what, good sir, you have a golden opportunity to sharpen your academic acuity by reading the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. Well, you'll learn something new, and you can pick up a few new words to stick it up in your vocabulary!

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers I would if I could, my dear Sarah Palin. ;)

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers Well, if one has never heard that ingesting the cannabinoids kills cancer cells rather than smoking it, then one wouldn't ingest it instead of smoking it to actually treat and cure their cancer, right? Ah yes, but the cannabinoids are more potent antioxidants when it comes to decreasing the reactive oxygen species generation than those cheap antioxidants found in green tea. Understand?

  • @FuckYouAllNiggers To call scientific fact a story presents how dull your academic acuity is. According to Patent number 6630507, as represented by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the cannabinoids that reside within cannabis are antioxidative neuroprotectants. Too much for you? Ok, I'll slow down. According to the National Cancer Institute, the cannabinoids are anti-cancer agents. Still too much for you? Well, I can't help a lost cause, good sir. You're on your own :)

  • why don't they just inject that shit straight into the cancerous area?

  • Who put their mouse over the mouse in the video in the beginning to see if it was the same size lol

  • I thought it was going to be a rick-roll!

  • Indian guys in suits never lie!

  • Noscapine [an alkaloid derived from the opium poppy, along with opiates such as diacetylmorphine & codeine] has anticarcinogen effects. Just pray to Buddha & eat the Jainist diet, so you would have not developed cancer. Yes, I understand some cancers are heredity, but we can live long & healthy by just NOT eating the food advertised by greedy government-affiliated companies. PEACE!

  • Mr. Rogers?!

  • I'm calling bullshit.

  • @FIREFRO626 It's true that the cannabinoids, like Delta-9-THC and CBD, kill cancer cells while leaving the healthy cells intact, along with inhibiting other mechanisms that promotes tumor growth. Don't believe me? Then read the Trends in Pharmacological Sciences 2001, Biological Chemistry Journal 2002, Nature Reviews: Cancer 2003, Cancer Research Journal 2004, Molecular Pharmacology Journal 2006, Cancer Cell Journal 2006, Acta Oncologica Journal 2008, Molecular Cancer Research Journal 2009, etc.

  • @zekdom No i'm saying how would smoking it help. And if it were a 100% cure why haven't we used it yet?

  • @FIREFRO626 Smoking it would inhibit the anti-neoplastic activity of the cannabinoids, actually. You need to either vaporize it so the cannabinoids won't be accompanied by carcinogens, or ingest it orally. People have cured their cancer with it, but many other people haven't heard about the anti-cancer effects of the cannabinoids. So, we're just waiting for some more clinical trials, more anecdotes, more people to become familiar with it, et cetera...

  • SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS THAT POT CELLS TROLL CANCER CELLS UNTIL THEY COMMIT SUICIDE?

  • @linkisnazi Pretty much,cool huh?

  • Ok stop now. I'm a stoner, I'm totally normal, no diseases, nothing! I have no problem quiting the pot to be honest, but why would I? It's a plant, it grows in a nature or at your home. People have been using it for I don't know, 10.000 years now? And guess what, how many records of marijuana deaths are there? The answer is 0! In 10.000 years there is not a single death from using marijuana. Actually the lethal dose of pot is 1000 joints in one minute. SO FEEL FREE TO USE POT! :D

  • @MrDecriminalize it's actually even more than that! The lethal dose is around 1500 pounds in 15 minutes, or if you take the oil until your stomach pops like a balloon.

  • @MrDecriminalize I think you would suffocate before that happens.

  • it can suck your dick, i promise

  • So if you smoke tree and drink green tea your all good, green tea has antioxidants in it that help kill free radicals and make cancerous cells self-destruct. Also pomegranate and other fruits have antioxidants in them. My uncle is in his 70's and he's probably more healthy and fit than most 40 year olds and he smokes a ton of weed, he also works out even though that weed makes him so "lazy" when he builds his own house by himself.

  • Pharmaceutical companies don't want you to make your own medicine. They, like all corporations and politicians hate you....but they love your money.

  • @CardinalJunky

Things like these would cripple the pharmaceutical industry so obviously they get nervous. They have turned health into profit and they won't let their profit go up in smoke.

  • HOW THE FUCK IS THIS NOT A BIG DEAL?? THIS SHOULD BE FUCKING HUUUUUUGE!!!

  • well to the top person to much of anything can kill you but in moderation and control it is possible

  • @MrZachattack11 nope to much pot will make you pass out and make you hungry. Literally impossible to OD on weed

  • Lmao. Drinking acid also kills bad cells.

  • @Gregabob00 ignorance won't get you anywhere my friend

  • MAY

  • @aldomovielovers The cannabinoids do kill cancer cells without affecting the healthy ones. We've proven this in humans, animals, test tubes, and in petri dishes.

  • i bet that medical are partially behind pot prohibition, considering it cures cancer and that would ruin their profits

  • There is receptors in the stomach too,I believe..

  • @Sniff34 There are receptors all over the body, basically. CB2 receptors all over the immune system, and the CB1 receptors are located primarily in the brain.

  • @zekdom Oh..thanks for the info. :)

  • @Sniff34 No problem :)

  • PROOF and MAY are kind of mutually exclusive. like i know she might be pregnant

  • @MehrMaxime

    you forget the word "cure"

treating cancer, sure, there's proof this does that, but cure it? Meaning get rid of it entirely? That still MAY be possible.

If it can at least inhibit growth of the tumor, it could be a very valuable treatment alongside other forms of treatment that have found to shrink tumors.

  • @chronDiggity point taken

  • I guess I'm never getting cancer then...haha high life*

  • "Proof" that Marijuana "may" cure cancer. What does that mean exactly..

  • @BeaztyAssBoosty it means its not 100% for sure

  • @BeaztyAssBoosty maybe the thc has acted against malicious cancer cells or something of that sort

  • so the cancer caused by smoking cigarettes can be cured by smoking a lot of weed? If only we knew.

  • @CaptainGrizzlyBear You have to ingest the cannabinoids instead of smoking cannabis to get the anti-cancer effect, or else the carcinogens in the smoke will inhibit their ability to induce autophagy in cancerous cells.

  • @starbobpizza so just eat it instead and avoid the harmful toxins the smoke produces.

  • @CaptainGrizzlyBear Exactly

  • Isn't this exactly what Steve Jobs thought too? He's the natural medicine poster boy. After diagnosis he was told he should have immediate surgery to remove the cancer. Instead he thought he'd try his luck with various natural remedies before finally getting his op 9 months later, too late.

  • High or not, I swear that's Mr Rogers!

  • cant you just make the thc into a pill im still missing how smoke in your lungs is good for you

  • @7475flyersfan Clearly not EVERY aspect of a drug is good for you. Killing your stomach lining with certain pills even if they cause you pain relief isn't exactly all that great either. :/

  • @7475flyersfan watch "Leaf" and "Run From The Cure". The THC in Cannabis when smoked primarily works on CB1 receptors (in the head/ brain) THC when ingested works on CB2 receptors. CB2 receptors are found in the immune system, digestive system, reproductive system and cardiovascular system. (the body)
