Crikey! They do a bloody great Aussie accent! Such steriotypical Aussie blokes right there! It's great how everyone thinks we end every sentance with "mate" 'cos we don't, got that mate?
Funny writing but the accents were a bit puke worthy (which I suposed was deliberate). They actually came close but the inflections are all wrong (except for perhaps in very small esoteric pockets of Aus that possibly do speak like that).
Lovely! I just wish I knew if they were parodying soap operas in general, or something specific to Australian ones. Sometimes it's really inconvenient to live in the US.
their mannerisms and expressions are spot on for eighties neighbours/home and away

Fry actually has an accurate accent.

Hugh's names are: Bradley, Craig, Shane, Finnley, Declan, and Vinn.
Stephen's names are: Owen, Maddox, and Clark.
I probably spelled them all wrong, but I don't care.
MistahDroory 5 years ago 2
have you noticed that hugh's character's name changes from Shane to Finnely to Declan? like in the dark thoughts clip.

This has one of my favourite endings of a sketch, I can't explain why it's funny it just is.
Probably one of the best parodies of soaps that's ever been done.

This sketch makes it impossible to watch Neighbours.

I think it parody's every soap- dramatic storylines, totally random revelations and relationship problems.
I love it.
