The only bad idea that apple have had in the last few years is IPAD! I mean whats the point to a large Itouch? But look i was a uge pc fan and loved pc gamming over all other platforms, but my high end pc now sits on the corner behind my Imac and macbook pro! Hardware is on par with many pc's, however I do prefer my "sub optimal" hardware that works all the time vs a pc that needs to be re-formatted once a month and constantly cleaned of spyware and viruses.

An imac is tantamount to a pc all in one that encompasses all it's components w/o the ability to change them. Same goes for laptops and their gpu's. DRM is imposed by the music label, and apple must abide by that, same goes for music sold by microsoft. Get your facts straight.

Your just so wrong on so many levels its crazy. You can't build a system that truly matches a high end Mac Pro because a lot of the internals are custom. You can come close, but in the end you are gonna still gonna pay more in the long run for a PC. They need more support, and will need more of your time to keep running.

When I bought my Mac Pro I spec'd PC's from several suppliers that matched specs. Each system was only between $300 and $400 less.

My story exactly. Thought I never won a mac. I also grew up hating macs, I was the only one in my class that refused to get one, and got a dell instead. Years later I started to regret this, got a macbook on impulse, and never looked back. Ordered my iMac 27" today.
you can still play games on the 8 core, its not going to take advantage of the 8 cores but you can still play games and have no problem. The game is going to use what it needs too. and the mac pro is using the best intel chip out there so if you have a pc using the same chip its going to be the same thing. Its not going to kick the macs ass
The 8 cores the mac pro uses are the intel Xeon chip which is a really good chip. So i doubt that there will be a better duel core chip out there. And it does men that its faster. It's because the apple computers use a different form of BIOS. Windows has a BIOS for flexibility, usually because they go out across the entire line of notebooks.

Bootcamp is emulation. New macs use intel processors which means no emulation. They are basically the same. Yes I have a mac, Yes I play Crysis On It. Macs are only good for games if you get an iMac with a 8800GS which then you can run crysis all very high at 800x600 or Low(And texture/shader quality medium) and at the Native Resolution. These guys can afford one and neither could I so I had to use Financing but I paid it off in a year. While living in a home with food.

I don't see how it's easier to download stuff on a PC. I download alot of music and warez myself, and it's working just as with any other computer. But the best part is that I don't have to run windows. OS X is TEH best operating system ever made. Even according to some swedish PC magazines.
about the software. Most downloadable software for PC are shit. They don't run smoothly at all with windows, and are rarely updated. I have everything I need on my mac, and very few programs are downloaded. And, almost every PC software has its opposit in Mac OS X.

Most people who post negative comments about the Mac are just F**King stupid. I use a Mac and a XPS 1730 with XP. Both operating systems have good and bad things about them. I will have to say that XP is good for gaming, but i do EVERYTHING ELSE under OSX because it works without the number of errors found in XP and Vista. People who complain about macs being over priced are just jealous and too poor to afford one. I don't have that problem.

I read on the apple website that one must put install certain disks that come on the iMac on Windows when using bootcamp in order for things like the eject button to work and other things? is this true?
When you start the bootcamp utility for the first time it will ask you to create a driver disk to be used later after XP loads. Once you install Xp, then you install the driver disk that bootcamp creates. Not the OSX disk.

The argument that Mac are overpriced is a stupid argument to have. It's really easy to see that Mac are made to a much higher standard. Plus you get THE best customer service out there. Which is worth its weight in gold.
When I bought my Mac Pro I spec'd PC's from several suppliers that matched specs. Each system was only between $300 and $400 less.
Plus in 3 years when I want to get a new Mac I will be able to sell my system for a much higher price. Used PC's don't sell well, Mac's DO!!!

What is this dumb notion you have that Mac users know nothing of computers? I have used PC's longer then you have been alive. I have also built many of my own PC's. I made the switch to Mac after winning a Mac Pro in a contest, and after using a Mac I will never go back to a PC system again. I grew up hating Apple, but most PC fanboys have never used one. so they should be ignored.

I know what Hackintosh is, Mac has way more going for it then its OS. The inside of my Mac Pro is the best case design I have ever worked with. you can still play games on the 8 core, its not going to take advantage of the 8 cores but you can still play games and have no problem. The game is going to use what it needs too. and the mac pro is using the best intel chip out there so if you have a pc using the same chip its going to be the same thing. The 8 cores the mac pro uses are the intel Xeon chip which is a really good chip. So i doubt that there will be a better duel core chip out there. And it does men that its faster. Plus the mac pro uses a server motherboard. Their isn't any pc out there of the shelf thats better than the mac pro. The mac pro is a professional computer

It's because the apple computers use a different form of BIOS. Windows has a BIOS for flexibility, usually because they go out across the entire line of notebooks.

Bootcamp is emulation. New macs use intel processors which means no emulation. They are basically the same. Yes I have a mac, Yes I play Crysis On It. Macs are only good for games if you get an iMac with a 8800GS which then you can run crysis all very high at 800x600 or Low(And texture/shader quality medium) and at the Native Resolution. These guys can afford one and neither could I so I had to use Financing but I paid it off in a year. While living in a home with food.

I don't see how it's easier to download stuff on a PC. I download alot of music and warez myself, and it's working just as with any other computer. But the best part is that I don't have to run windows. OS X is TEH best operating system ever made. Even according to some swedish PC magazines.

about the software. Most downloadable software for PC are shit. They don't run smoothly at all with windows, and are rarely updated. I have everything I need on my mac, and very few programs are downloaded. And, almost every PC software has its opposit in Mac OS X.

Most people who post negative comments about the Mac are just F**King stupid. I use a Mac and a XPS 1730 with XP. Both operating systems have good and bad things about them. I will have to say that XP is good for gaming, but i do EVERYTHING ELSE under OSX because it works without the number of errors found in XP and Vista. People who complain about macs being over priced are just jealous and too poor to afford one. I don't have that problem.

No it's bad on the programmers part whoever made whichever program that clogged it up in the first place. MS has much more developers that are making programs for their OS and the only reason why MAC doesn't have the same problems because "MOST" of their programs and hardware are controlled by Apple. If Mac had 95% of the world using it's operating system it would run into the same problems that windows is plagued with today...

Apple makes about 1% of the software available for the Mac.
Plus, Windows doesn't have 95% of the world using it's OS. Not even 1/6th of the people out there even know what a computer is.
Windows has about 90% of the MARKET. There's a difference.

yes it's PIP (picture in picture).. he does these kinds of things for publicity. some people do it to make make look bad, some people make the videos to make mac look awesome. youtube is full of people like this. there is no way he is running it that smooth on those specs.. the videocard is like 100$, before i upgraded i had a system far superior to this and i wasn't even running it close to as well as he is.

Yes there is a Dolby 5.1 Surround sound out on the back of it. Along with 3 USB ports, 2 FireWire ports, stereo out, and mini-DVI to add an external display.

I read on the apple website that one must put install certain disks that come on the iMac on Windows when using bootcamp in order for things like the eject button to work and other things? is this true?

When you start the bootcamp utility for the first time it will ask you to create a driver disk to be used later after XP loads. Once you install Xp, then you install the driver disk that bootcamp creates. Not the OSX disk.
