I have a Great Dane/ Black Lab, that a pet store had, then the pet store gave him to a shelter, now we have him. The is the biggest teddy bear, and i have when the say muts from the pound aren't no good. when I even think of Beau getting old and having to put hiom to sleep I cry. He's so good. Shelter dogs are as good as purebloods!!!!

Well maybe when your old enough to have your own place you can get one, or if your old enough you can volunteer at a shelter... I can't get a shelter animal because I already have a dog and we can't afford another animal :(

we can help animals have a happy life before they go... so if you do adopt, think about getting an older animal so they don't die sad in a shelter. sure baby animals are cute but they will get adopted very quickly...so don't feel bad about not getting a baby animal =)
