They're fixing it slowly by getting smaller cpus that generate less heat/power. My friend has a newer hdmi model that generates also alot less noise as well as heat. The next big update for the 360 like the ps3 is a smaller 65nm gpu for the above reasons. Granted if they wouldn't have rushed the 360 this would not have a problem but MC wanted better sales and got them...Ps3 wins in quality and size, but the 360 hasnt seen all of its revisions yet.
