the reason you probably couldnt find it [a video of this] anywhere, is bc its from about a million years ago ~ for simon's 20th b-day :):):)!!! That Robert dide *himself* with a 4-tracked keyboard and drum machine.
this is not the original version btw. but it sounds nice. i have a vinyl version 'strange days' the original is at least 10 minutes long, recorded for simon's 20th birthday. i'll post it once i sort out my vinyl-mp3 thing - watch this space. but in the meantime - 'the teenage dream is over... wish i was another number...'
"Simons birthday in half an hour...so this is for him." =) I have a video from 2008 on my videos of them doing Faith at the Shrine Auditorium and singing happy birthday to Simon during Faith. He goes into it around 5 min and 43 seconds.
thanks for posting this! I first heard this off of a bootleg I bought called "Simon's 20th Birthday'" at Record Ron's in the French Quarter, New Orleans. Fucking love it!
I don't know, because I have never heard it before. I found it some days ago here and I'm amazed by this song. I also thought I know all their songs but... it seems we still can be suprised. :)
This was sung on the eve of Simon's 20th birthday, right around 11.30pm. It first appeared on the bootleg album Girls Don't Cry, which was adorned with lots of sketches of girls in bondage.
pues estuve en Londres en el concierto hace dos semanas en primera fila, lo tenia ahi delante y no hice otra cosa que llorar y mirarle, sus gestos sus manos es alucinante!!!!!
Ohh not sure if your talking about the setlist for when they played it in concert. But as far as I am aware I had this list from the albumn that included this song. I dont remember now where I got the cover artwork from that might add to some confussion :-P. I had to download the albumn im afraid and this was how they were labeled not all the tracks were live some were studio versions.
The friend I made this for said something very similar :-) Was the nicest thing to hear from her. :-D...Just makes the next birthday gift a little harder now :-P

Now I look back, and every present I've ever given seems so weak in comparison.
