In 1980 I spent part of my gap year in the US. The first 3 months I spent in the baking N Mexico heat then I headed up to Casper. What a relief to feel the wind and rain on my face!! (right at home for a young British lad) I spent 4 happy wet and windy weeks around Casper before heading up to Cody. Really enjoyed the wild and beautiful Wyoming countryside. Hope youre all still looking after it!
Nice Mackerel sky at the start and interesting cumulus tower development. Looks like some really swirly, unstable air and quite a storm that developed from it. Thanks for the show!

They are cirrocumulus clouds, and are quite common in Mesa Arizona, during our summer monsoon season.
