That's true. I was just learning this piece when I uploaded this, I am a lot better now, and i have slowed it right down to the correct tempo.

One of these days I will upload a more recent performance. I love this song, it was what inspired me to learn the keyboard / piano!

She's not using a music sheet, and I'm sorry to say I doubt she's actually playing it...the machine has a prerecorded play of it.

Even if she is playing it, she isn't doing very good job at it..She's not putting effort into it.

I can't post videos because there is no working camera corder or cell phone to post it here, I'm not a very competitous person. I don't use keyboard presets, I actually play the songs so I don't need to prove myself to someone with a video of them using keyboard presets and just pretending, if I can actually buy a working keyboard and have something to post it I will.

I'm so sorry my joke was wasted on you, Genesis of Pain. Don't worry, you won't find a keyboard with 'Lean On Me' recorded with all the imperfections in my attempt. It's actually a compliment that you think my beginner's attempt here with all its flaws is as good as a commercial recording / good enough to be sold with a keyboard. Thanks!

I learned how play this by ear only. Did you use sheet music? If you listen to the actual song, you can hear that it is played slightly differently. A very good job though.

Thanks. I played it from memory - I had sheet music some eight years ago, but sadly, it's now lost. Basically it is in the key of C, with C, F, and Em chords.

Thanks for your comment. I played this tender piece much too fast. Bill Withers' original piece had a lot more soul because it was at a slower tempo. It is not a fast song by any stretch of the imagination, and I'll slow it right down next time!

What I take exception to is people just saying mad silly things on people's pages. Criticism I can take, good, bad or indifferent, but a torrent of abuse, what's that for?
