  • Very nice sound from this dobro ?? guitar. But it's surely not only because of the guitar.

  • It's all because of the Fender, it is a great tool.

    Curt

  • Curt, this is a sweet arrangement and performance! the stars are yours! tom

  • Thank You! This song was easy for me to pick out, I guess it's because I like it so much. I have my own way of picking the guitar, but I guess everyone likes my style. My dream is to learn how to finger pick, maybe some day.

  • work at it in your own style...none of are ever gonna be Flatt and Scruggs

  • Buster, Merry Christmas!!! u know, u have a great sense of timing on top of playing the song without skips and misses, the timing and abliltiy to play a piece smooth is the most important thing in a piece of music..u do it very well..I do rattle alot of music, it's my impatience, lol, i'm gonna put some bass, violina banjo on one of these pieces and send it back to you, if that's ok.... gs

  • I'm glad you think I don't make a lot of mistakes. I guess I am my worst critic. I try to be perfect, but that usually don't happen.

  • Thank You! I know I pick a little different than most, I guess it is because I play by ear. I should take music lessons, I'm sure I am doing most everything wrong, but I work on making music sound good to me.

  • great!!! i love it, great sound of guitar! 5*****

  • I like the sound of this Fender Resonator too. It really sounds great on some of these old country tunes.

    Thanks for you great comments!

    Curt

  • Sounding great Curt. On of the simplest and mysterious songs in country music. Well done.

  • Thank you Buck! I liked the sound of it on my resonator. I'll have to learn the words and try singing it.

    Curt

  • LOVE IT! ***** Sounds real 19th century western. (Or, like a 20th century film soundtrack to a "western.") It's a song and tune that conjure-up a "simpler" past-time... just the word "yonder" (well used in my granddad's vocabulary) is tell-tale authenticity for the song and the twang of the resonator gives the same feel. Great.

  • Wow your comments are great, I hope it dont make my head swell to much.

I really enjoy music and my friends, they both go hand in hand.

Glad you enjoyed this old tune!

    Thank's!
