  • I've been doing Billy BlanksTae Bo for years , and frankly getting a little bored with it so this is a GREAT change - similar but with a different flair. I love it and love this instructor. (and I'm 62 yrs old)

  • don't quit - never ever quit

  • you need to make a proper fist throughout. It will help you get the punching action correct, work more muscles and get you in good habits. If you are struggling to make a fist correctly invest in a pair of wraps.

  • warm up prepares the body and mind

  • Avoid leaning forward on punching techniques, keep your body upright and use the pivot to cover distance on the cross.

  • the shoulder goes backwards and forwards on the jab - engage the abs and make it a total body exercise

  • approach the Energize workout with the discipline and control of the martial arts.

    yep..it hurts my back & legs..

    but its normal to feel some pain for the 1st time right?..and its worth it...

    i was on my 3rd day today..& i think i need to do it again....thanks for this video....

  • @vietnamrose04 you need to make sure you are copying the technique you can see on the video - check in the mirror. Do our punching tutorial and soon to be released is our kicking tutorial. Exercise should exert the body and the muscles should feel as though they are working hard. Of course the more you do the workout the more you will learn about the moves and about your own body.

  • I have to work on workout 3 still, it's tough but I love it, my stamina is getting better!

  • i just did this one then did workout 4: high low... got a real good sweat and raised heart rate...think i would need to do kick and tone after that tho as i wanted more muscle burn!

  • ZenBen84 - the morning is a good time to workout - research shows morning exercisers are more consistent and more likely to stick at it! We have classes in London - our most central class is in Waterloo - for all class times and locations go to our website
