Great song/group, but the bass guitar was kind of annoying. Playing a few too many notes.......almost sounded like it was clashing a few times..there is something to be said for "less is more."
Anthony just COLLAPSED on cruise---Roger fought off AML as long as he could before graft-versus-host told him "that's it, man."
Roger's sound is tied up in my own, and I dare say there's not a keys player around who could say that isn't true.
They traded off the "Berger instrumentalist of the year" Award at NQC for many MANY years. After about the 5th time, Roger was all about, "Maybe they oughtta name this after you???"
No. At the time I heard about Anthony's collapse, Roger Bennett was still alive and keeping an online journal during his fight with cancer. It was Roger who told the "ropeholders" the news about Anthony. that's how I know.
All of us, including Roger, were shocked and saddened at the news. As to the NQC thing, I have had friends and family go--they related stories of this to me. FUN FUN STUFF.
Love this! Haven't heard this song in a long time.

I noticed this a long time ago, but I love how Anthony Burger tells the rest of the band that the key goes up a fourth. :) You go, Anthony!

This is good, but I'd rather hear Danny Funderburk sing this with the Cats.

I rocked my first granddaughter to sleep with a tape with Danny singing tenor on it. I'll never forget those days.
