Dmancan. I appreciate your comments. Of course I would like to believe that these nets are harmless, however the data proves opposite. Pesticides are less than healthy for bugs (or) humans. NothingButNets is a outdated lowbrow attempt to eradicate a problem which was solved years ago in the developed world. We need to find out how these nets impact human health over time. This is a fair and reasonable question that deserves a proper response.
Logtype47, perhaps your gut is wrong? Do you honestly think they would allow carcinogenic chemicals that offgas to poison people? And if Ted Turner had such an agenda of over population, why would he be trying to save people?
Your comments are in poor taste to the need to end Africa's #1 killer of children.
Are we really going to expose small children and pregnant women to nets with chemical pesticides? this is insane? Would any of you in the developed developed world allow your little Billys and Heathers to sleep under these toxic nets.
My gut tells me these nets are going cause birth defects, cancer, respiratory problems etc.
Why isn't anyone questioning the safety of this product.
Does anyone have any research on the side-effects of sleeping / breathing / touching nets that are treated with heavy pesticides over a 5 year period.
Perhaps I am confused. This charity, NothingButNets has partnered with Ted Turner's United Nations Foundation. Ted Turner has expressed quite openly that he is working tirelessly to control/reduce population. In 2008 he commented on Charlie Rose "We have too many people using too much stuff". Why then does Turner contribute vast resources to preserve the lives of people in the poorest nations on earth.

I am told these nets are saturated with enough chemical pesticides to last 5 years. Does anyone have any thoughts on this???

His agenda requires further examination.
