I was introduced to this blessed man after watching his performance in Tyler Perry's "Laugh To Keep From Crying" stage play. TP mentioned during the end credits that he heard Wess sing in NY and was totally impressed. He also said that Wess had been struggling with drugs for 15 years and been clean for 7 years. Tyler is so blunt in his comments (he said he has family members who are crackheads), but I'm glad he mentioned Wess' testimony. Very inspirational.

This is such a powerful song. It ministers to my heart because I can relate to it. After the loss of my big sister and a diagnosis with a chronic illness, I didn't sing or even pray for the longest but now I feel like I have my song back and a testimony.
I believe the race comments are taken out of context. It is simply an observation & not meant to be a racist comment. Hello all, I absouletly *Love* this song. I get chills when I watch the Spirit of God move through Wess Morgan, the choir, and the audience. I think he has a Beautiful voice, it was a brilliant chorus , and I think he touches all of our hearts and minds in the way he glorifies our Almighty. God is Good, all the time; and All the time, God is Good!! This is truly a testimony, and I hope this music ministry continues to spread around the world. Amen!!

This is such a powerful song. It ministers to my heart because I can relate to it. After the loss of my big sister and a diagnosis with a chronic illness, I didn't sing or even pray for the longest but now I feel like I have my song back and a testimony.

I believe the race comments are taken out of context. It is simply an observation & not meant to be a racist comment. For the believer, we know the anointing transcends racial lines.When can we get past the reality that we are different colors but one in Christ, we won't view everything as racist, but simply "what is" Bec his song was played on our local gospel station I assumed he was black but now that I know, it does no detract or diminish his gift. About the race issue... probably not necessary to even say " he probably grew up around black people" ...I hear more regional differences when listening to singers ( He sounds Southern to me) than " Black " or " white " sounding ===BUT=== There's NOTHING racist about saying it... noone degraded him or his race... they just made an honest opinion. When I first heard about this song I fell in love with it and I like singing it because the song is saying I choose to worship God you are not forced into it and you don't have to if you don't want to you have a choice that's saying I am choosing to worship God to get what God has for me. I've listened to white worshipers- even american- and you can tell by the way they sing. The way they sing is different to how black singers sing. This guy probably grew up among black people && his backup singer are black no all but some and so because you can hear their voices you think he's black as well.

"What a wonderful Anointing"... I've always said "Gods got somebody, and somebody else; I don't mind if God uses someone alongside me I just don't want Him to have to use someone INSTEAD of me, God had this young man hidden away until he was ready, after all the other "Gospel Singers" got sucked into the pride and the pony show of the world, God raised this gift up for such a time as this.. he reminds me of a dear friend of mine.
