  • Maybe the FRAPS aren't the ones to blame.

  • I know many don't trust wiki but have you tried there?

It said something interesting like PC (MS-DOS +5).

"BioForge is not compatible with modern operating systems such as Windows XP but can be run reliably in the DOSBox PC emulator as of version 0.65. Another way to run the game successfully is through a virtual machine running DOS."

  • Watched your entire Alone in the Dark 1 playthrough, very interesting. It's good to see your still making videos. I first found out about Bioforge a few weeks before you put up your first Fraps test. So I was like "YA".

  • so I consider myself a pretty decent gamer, but i've never heard of bioforge until last month, what makes the game so great?

  • That's a game with a great story and great graphics (for the time). This was supposed to be part of Origins' "Interactive Movies" series, but in the end, only this one came up. They were inspired by Alone in the Dark in term of cameras, and were trying to find ways to enhance that type of game (like adding texture mapping). It was supposed to have a sequel, but that sequel was cancelled due to poor sales.

  • Vérifie que Stereo Mix est bien activé dans tes options de son

  • a game by origin. I remember that company, the same one that made System Shock. As for the audio I can't help, it's pretty much a hit-miss thing, just try what you can do in your audio setting until it's set up properly.

  • Oh, I hope this works out and you end up playing through this game. I really liked it and was very, very sad when they cancelled the sequel.

  • It runs good. Have you tried messing with recording settings more.

Try click that speaker icon at the bottom right go to options and select properties and click recording and click ok and check the Stereo Mix or try other ones to see which one works best.

  • whats your OS? if you have vista there should be an option for direct stream. if your using xp you need to use your sound cards line in. for sound-blaster its "what u hear" and for realtek its stereo mix. if you can't find those make sure they are turned on in your audio options. also another trick is just to lower the volume a bit :)

  • My OS is XP and I'm using RealTek. My output sound was to the max, but my input (stereo mix) was halfway.

  • hmm trying to remember how i did it on my old xp machine (now with vista i can just direct stream), if i remember correctly i just lowered stero mix really low till it was about right. try that out and see. in the meantime I'll try to remember exactly what i did xD
