No its not true. Genetic testing has proved most Somalis (like other Cushitics; Somalia, Ethiopian. Djbouti, Eritrea, Ancient Egypt) are Native Africans. Some do have admixture, which varies from family to family, but most do not. Africa is very diverse genetically and phenotypically. Africa is the most gentic varied continent and has phenotypically Native people, some who are not black, like the Berbers.
