Yeah, take it easy. Work on using your wrist a bit more. Especialy on ghost notes. Then youll find you wont have to hit so fast and so hard to get those little rolls in between snare beats.

Also, look up the molar method on youtube. That will help you alot on keeping tempo, especialy with your hi hat.

My set is not an M Birch, it was manufactured before the Birchs came out so mine is all maple like the Pro M's. These are REALLY good sets. I got mine for $1100.
