Actually all of the songs sound like songs from other musicals... But most people aren't as nerdy as the writers of Scrubs. There are A LOT of references to obscure theatre in Scrubs :)

yeah the producer. but the songwriter intended it to sound like sonething that could've been in grease. don't bother, i've seen all the extras on the dvd too ;)

actually it wasn't intentional. The producer didn't even realize it sounded like that until he heard the demo of it.
