If the lion don't catch it right, the lion itself could end up dead. A small injury in this hot, exotic landscape could be fatal. And those hogs have the tusks to do it.

Who told you guys that a leopard is actually faster than a lioness?Check it in official pages.A lion can speed up faster than a leopard and his top speed is greater than a leopard as well.Idc about vs battles i m just saying how the things are.Plus lions can climb up to trees but arent that agile on them like leopards are due to their canines have a different shape allowing leopards moving perfect upon trees.

Lions can climb trees but cant climb down. thats cuz they dont have a locking wrist joint (i think thats what its called). leopards do and are the most agile cats in porportion to their their bodysize.

Sorry....yes I take that back.....Jaguars are the strongest cat pound for pound....However....Lions still Kill leopards in the wild....one to one Lions dominate all of Africa's other predators with the exception of the Nile crocodile!

The main differences between a jaguar and a leopard are the jaguar's rosettes have a spot in them as the leopard's rosettes don't, the jaguar tends to be more stockier then the leopard, the jaguar has the strongest bite force of all the felines in the genus panthera(which is used to pierce the brain and crush the skull)while the leopard usually crushes the wind-pipe, the jaguar tends to like water, and the jaguar inhabits the Americas while the leopard inhabits Africa and Asia. Well you should tell people more then just that the Asiatic lion has a smaller mane, the Asiatic lion weighs a little bit smaller, the Asiatic lion has a fold of skin on its belly, and the Asiatic lion usually is darker pigmented(not by a lot) instead of just telling them that, tell them everything.

Firstly I didn't say or ask anything about the asiatic lion. Secondly I have far more important things to do than write a dissertation on the differences or similarities between the leopard and the Jaguar here on youtube! Thirdly You still dont get that i wasn't pointing out the differences i was pointing out the similarities to emphisize why someone may get confused between the two big cats. Plus you have just wasted your time pointing out the differences as there obvious to any wildlife lover

you are right, IF they catch them, but they probably never will. Because lions are very stealthy, unlike the agile, durable leopard. They are both sharing the same ecosystem and are of the elite predators, both are apex predators.
