When we go up from the foot of Mt. Fuji, this Shinto shrine passes it.
There is this Shrine in "the north side" of Mt. Fuji.
A person going to the middle of Mt. Fuji by bus is most generally. It is the road climbing mountain later.
Because meters above the sea level is high, there is a person suffering from a headache for hypoxia.
Mt. Fuji is clean from a distance.
The winter when there is snow on the mountaintop is the most beautiful.
However, the real spot has a problem of various environmental pollution.
It is unbelievable, but there is practice ground of the armed forces in the foot of Mt. Fuji.
There is not the qualification that such a mountain is registered with a world heritage.
In the outskirts of Mt. Fuji, sightseeing service is worse from Kyoto.
But I know the restaurant where only one house is delicious in a lake near Mt. Fuji.
It is the French food which a chef of a Japanese makes.
"ROMARIN" near Kawaguchiko lake
When I lived in Tokyo for 40 years, I ate considerably various dishes, but was not more delicious from this restaurant.
In addition,
I recommend next Hotel to a person of all foreigner!
"Hanafubuki" hotel

That is a rope called "Sime nawa".
It is a meaning not to be able to "enter the inside from this place".
There is it to "a decoration" of the time of the Japanese New Year too.
It seems to be "a talisman against evil" of folk belief.
Incidentally,
There are two stone statues such as "a watchdog" at an entrance of a Shinto shrine,
but, as for this, I think that a model is the Egyptian "Sphinx" obviously.
