  • Did it. Thanks for posting this vid :) (subs and favorites)

  • r there a lot of "jack johnson - flake" out there cuz imnot getting this music with that =S =P help please

  • can you do this pattern on the 6x6

  • dude there is a much easier way

  • @KonaE4 I'm against algorithms.

  • @JRefleX93 Algorithms are the work of the Devil.

  • I can solve the cube in 22 seconds and i'm 11. (video is in my channel if you dont believe me)

  • Comment removed

  • Actually you should have rotated the big cornes! From outside it should be boue, red, white, BLUE(not red again), and then red! Then the cubes have rotated the same

  • I'll try it on the 7x7 ;)

  • nvm i finally got it

  • i dont get group the edges

  • Can you solve a 5x5?

  • yes i can when i solve it to like where u need to solve the last layer i cant get that 1

  • You mean you can't do the last layer of solving the cube?

  • yes i can but when i try to solve it in the flipped cubes and stuff it confuses me

  • no i cant group the edges cuz of the switched pieces

  • he mens he doesnt do reduction

  • 0:21

The colours are really weird. can you send me that sheet. there's isnt orange and red edges. maybe that's meant to be yellow?

  • The top half of the left column is red, white, and blue.

The bottom half is green, yellow, and orange.

    Right column:

    -Blue/yellow

    -Blue/orange

    -White/orange

    -White/green

    -Red/green

    -Red/yellow

  • well youre tutorial sucks

  • yoar english skils sux

  • awesome, di you make this. plz annotate the algs

  • i did this but i jus sovled the centers as they shud be and jus made 1 edge, moved it out the way the did another :) :)

took like 4 hours tho :(

  • That works too. :)

    Nice job!

  • can you pm me on how to get the cube in cube pattern for the 3x3x3 rubix cube plz thank ohh yeah like the song

  • u did a D instead of D'

  • wow.

You're like the fifth person to think that I screwed up a D turn.

    watch again... 1:04

  • you did do a D though, not D'

  • it is a D' if u do on the up layer it'll be U so it is D'

  • No, D is clockwise and D' is counter-clockwise.

  • your wrong

  • its not 2B, it's B2.

  • its 2B. on big cubes, you dont say B2. It messes up the star. 2R*, not R2*.

  • No, 2B and B2 are two different things.

on larger cubes like 6x6 and 7x7, 2B2 would mean turn the back two layers twice. So 2B would be do a clockwise turn on the back two layers, and B2 is turn the very back layer twice.

  • maybe because i use the *.

  • Thanks for the help...i have got F2L done for the pattern...i just cant get OLL and PLL...haha any help?

  • hmm...

well I would do "2-look" OLL & PLL

Just do an algorithm to solve the edges first, them do the corners

  • How do you get the 4x4x4 pattern in the 5x5x5 whats the algorithm?

  • I personally prefer to use the layer-by-layer solving method, because I don't like to remember algorithms.

If you need an algorithm, google/youtube search "3x3 cube in cube pattern"

  • cool i mean on the 7x7 when i did mine it was different i had symmetrical colors on each face not like yours i still think yours is the best method because it is harder and it lets you figure out how to do things for your self instead of using someone else's algorithm for it i mean i came up with my own algorithm for how to do this pattern on the 7x7 but im just not telling people because i heard and have seen people steel other peoples ideas and claim that it is infact there very own idea.

  • still, that's cool!

yea, I know what you mean

  • hey JRefleX93 i do the cube in cube differently to how u do it. i only just realised

  • I'm like the only person who doesn't use algorithms for patterns.

  • thnx :)

  • well well i see we have a master in our presence!!! how long did it take you to figure it out??? it took me about 4 days! :p

  • Well actually it didn't take much thinking after learning how to solve it.

XD well that's great that you got it!

  • i am definitely doing it on my 7x7 :)

i know how to do it on the 7x7. i just wasn't sure if it was the same on the 5x5. i will post a tutorial if you want.

  • Cool!

You don't need to make one for me, I know how to do it

  • hey RandomVides305 what is the algorithm for the 4x4 in the 5x5

  • Hey, i did the algorithm for getting the 4x4 in the 5x5, but how did you get those edges flipped?

  • pause the video at 0:20

You have to get the edges flipped way back during the edge-grouping section.

  • im so gonna do that on my 7x7

but im just gonna put up

i dont have the patience of a teacher heh

  • you should!!

Also try making the 7x7 volleyball pattern. :)

If you can do that, you basicly have big cubes mastered

  • awesome song (Y)

  • how make part of 3x3x3 look like a 2x2x2???

  • what? I don't understand what you're asking

  • what he means how to make a 2x2x2 block on a 3x3

  • I just use logic. I make it into that pattern directly from a scrambled cube using layer-by-layer method.

I don't know any patterns algs, sorry

  • Comment removed

  • yay i did it

  • cool :)

  • Thats to high for me...lol

    but nice one!

  • There's a WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY faster way to do this. 1 algorithm performed twice.

  • Yea, I hate using algorithms though

I'm one of the only people you'll meet who prefers hard thinking for patterns instead of algs. XD

  • Haha.

    Fair enough, I guess.

  • do you know the algorythm? could you reply on my comment with it plx :p.

  • I don't know any patterns algorithms

  • this is so cool... i was able to do this... but didnt get how to switch the corners like u have at 0:50, so it wasnt really complete :P

  • cool, good job!

    0:50?

  • thx!

yeah, at 0:50, you've switched 3 corner middle pieces which is sorta unusual... how did you do that?

  • you mean the center-edges?? sorry...

for those, I just grouped them like that from the beginning

  • i have no clue how u come up with such creative ideas!

    awesome!

  • thanks :)

wait until I upload my new 7x7 pattern video ("WEEZ")...

  • at 4:15 how do you get the 2x2 inside that 3x3

  • what 2x2 and 3x3??

    ?_?

  • what is the algorithm? for the pattern

  • o wait, i meant 0:45

  • oh, I don't know... search youtube for "cube in cube 3x3"

I don't use algorithms for patterns- I make 3x3 patterns directly from scrambled cubes

  • oh sweet i got it, cool pattern

  • ok cool, glad I could help!

  • kickass pattern, but i think its just a little to much work for me..i just solved the cube for the first time yesterday. the frikkin parity errors kill me

  • thanks

    congrats on solving the cube!

  • I thought the 5x5 didn't have parity errors?

  • It has edge parity but that's it

  • jack johnson is badass

  • haha, yea

  • this is the most BADASS thing i have ever seen! good job!

  • lol, thanks!

Do you understand the process? That's the best part.

I learned after making this video that you can make this with an algorithm but I like my method better. :P

  • LMAO, i dont even have a 4x4 :P... cant find one anywhere! haha

  • So are you willing to put the algorithm up or no?

  • I don't know the algorithm and I don't want to learn it

  • you should put some silicon on that it makes it much better!

  • yea, I really need to buy some!

  • Awesome job, I think I'm gonna try this on my 7x7x7

  • thanks! :)

please post a video if you get it figured out!

  • you make it look so easy

  • haha...

  • that is awesome! Now I'm gonna try it on my 7x7x7! why are there purple-ish stickers on your Rubik's 5x5? or is that just the camera?

  • Thanks!

cool, I'm too lazy to do the edges! :P

can post a video if you can do it?

hmm, I don't know, it must be the lighting or something
