My dreams change as I mature and im 18 so I kinda feel the same way...kinda thought I would be in a better spot than I am...I didnt know when I was young the economy would fail, and some other changes in power would happen and the U.S. and the world for that matter would virtually turn to shit...

as a child i definitely knew what i wanted to do. Zoo Vet. i love all animals and i wanted to have the opportunity to work with as many varieties of animals as i could and specialize in Big Cats especially. i also wanted to work with Jim Henson. but since he died when i was about 16 that never even came close to working out. :-( but as life takes it's twists and turns, i never did go to school and never got close to becoming a vet. but i got married and had a family. different dream NO REGRETS.

i wanted to be a vet when i was younger but i wasn't good enough at math/science and had allergetic reactions whenever getting any near hairy stuff

which included hairy animals. 헐

Then I realized I've always been helping everyone with their problems so, I have decided that I want to be a psychologist or a social worker. Even if my family doesn't support me, I'll still go for it.

Check your local National Weather Service website. They may need spotters during severe weather season. They offer spotters classes in the late winter or early spring, at least they do here in Wisconsin.

Since I could think for myself I wanted to be an artist. Act,sing, be a musician, etc... I'm seventeen now and I still want that. I actually changed from the school I have ALWAYS been to another one that gives me music classes besides the regular ones. And I'm loving it.

I wanted to be a hairdresser...Then an actress, then basically a replica of miley cyrus. THEN i grew up, that is not what I want to do now. I would HATE to be famous. However, now I am deeply in love with writing. So, my real dream is to become an author. Generally though, I want to be a journalist.

Good one.Why not go for something in weather?U're still way young! My childhood dream was 2b a singer,musician/artist..Once I got past the point of no return,age-wise,I knew I had to give it a go b4 i was asking myself this same question.Not 2b famous,but 2b the dream.To live with the learning from a failure is better to live with the regret of never trying at all.I've been making original music/art vids for 3 yrs,in hopes of living out that childhood dream of mine.Good advice,good question.

I always knew that I wanted to do something that involves kids, but didn't know what. But being 19 I kinda had to hurry up and choose a path to go on. Now I'm Majoring in Early Childhood Education and I love it. I can't wait to start teaching in a couple years. Don't feel bad, things change, but just as long as you're happy doing what you're doing that's all that matters. =)
