She is currently in Australia and Ive been lucky enough to go to 2 shows with 1 more next week. She is an incredible performer and a wonderful entertainer. Everyone has enjoyed her OZ visit.
She sounds fabulous and if she does have a backtrack I could care less. She is Dolly we know she isn't a studio creation that is for sure. At 65 if her breath isn't what is used to be then a back track is not problem with me. I love Dolly and would be honored just to be with her!
I love Dolly, but I know when she's lip-synching, and that's what's she doing here. I saw her on the Halos & Horns Tour and she sang live. Since then, she's had lots of "help" from pre-recorded vocals. Still, lots of folk will still enjoy the concert just because it's Dolly, and good for her!
@cormackcarr you need to shut the F*^K up, ur crazy, Dolly is the best singer ever and i know she dont lip sync!!! Shes a legend and you can kiss it. I was at that concert that night and Dolly was an awesome entertainer!!!!! I LOVE DOLLY PARTON , I WISH SHE WOULD MARRY ME!!!!!
@LancedamnJohnson If you were that much of a Dolly fan, you'd realise she's miming to the studio version of the song. Watch some old videos of her live shows from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, and you'll see the difference. She's lip-synching here, and freely admits to using canned vocals in her new concerts. It's no secret.
She wasn't faking it, a reviewer/music critic from the Mail (UK) pointed out that on the contrary to younger artists, she actually sings and plays live. He was at the concert and is strict on that point. However, to protect her voice, the backing voices are extremely important and blend very closely in case cracks come in. Also on stage, the noise is deafening and they can't hear each other so the mikes etc have to filter sound-, but, she has absolutely nothing to prove. Easy to throw stones.

The concert was awesome!!! I absolutely loved it when she sang Smoky Mountain Memories and Holding Everything... if anyone has video of these songs please share... This was the best concert ever!!!! Thanks Dolly!!!

@shep72685 I worked for her a few days ago and she doesn't lip sync. Its all live!! I was amazed.

One of the ways you can tell she lip syncs is because she always over-acts. But I still love her. Her voice just isn't very stable anymore.
