They're just power chords man! I dont even hear the other strings your so called holding down. Unless you are playing power chords I just cant see. I can play the rhythm sections accurately with just power chords. A lot easier and doesnt sound that much different. Not saying your way is wrong though. Power chords would be a lot simpler. :l

You're getting the name of your chords wrong. The first chord is a G5-chord, the one you didn't know the name of is an F#5-chord, or a Gb5 (G-flat fifth), and it's a C5. Basically all you've said aren't flatted, because the song is in standard tuning.

You can play the guitar. Now you should probably learn some theory to get to know it better.
