In 1952 the law was changed so now the mother's country matters as well as the fathers. Even her dual citizenship was questioned.

Just because Sarah Palin bought a house in Arizona she's still ineligible to replace McCain when he retires. She lives in Wasilla and merely having a residence in a state isn't enough to fufill the residency requirements to run for Senator I'm sure you'd agree with that. A natural born citizen requirement is similarly a higher standard than just being a resident, in this case you have to be more than just a citizen.

They were married and came to live with the father. The mother had to wait 7 years before she could take the test to be a citizen and the daughter was a dual citizen who liked to go back to Germany to visit grandma and auntie. She turned 18 signed the papers saying she wanted to be an American and is now a fully "Naturalized" American citizen. In 1952 the law was changed so now the mother's country matters as well as the fathers. Even her dual citizenship was questioned.

Again, this case has nothing to do with Obama since the child was born in Germany to a German citizen mother. The onus would be on the father to provide her with US citizenship before she turned 18. Again, you lose.
