@darich67 Thanks for watching. In Ireland the solid white line goes on for ages. I know I should have waited to get a broken line. I wasn't upset at the car driver. It was probably difficult to judge the speed of a bike. We even exchanged a friendly wave at the end of the road where I stopped.
You seem to acknowledge your wayward ways Gary, But most people watching this wont realize that this is in Ireland and that sign you blasted past read 50 kilometres not miles.
being a good driver or rider u have to be able to anticipate ,the un seen dangers , hence the term look left n right , its funny how car drivers always blame the bikes , yet over 80% of all crashes involving bikers are caused by car drivers . personaly gary mate i would off took his wing mirrior , fair play to u mate at least u can handle yer bike
@MrEddieobrien Thanks for your kind comments. It was a close enough incident but to be fair I was travelling quite fast. You do need to keep your wits about you on a bike. Car drivers tend not to see bikes and only look for cars. Again thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, it is much appreciated.
@GaryGSF to be fair you were hammering along! There was no way that car could have expected you to get up that fast & it is pulling out before you take that corner. Fast is fun, its the stopping that is fatal!
@quosmo1 if you look you will find I did not attribute any blame. So there was no need to be rude. Think before leaving any derogatory comments...thank you.
regardless of speed, you crossed the solid line to overtake, then crossed it again to come back to the correct side of the road.
The car pulling out was pretty bad, but you were moving along pretty quick.

your going to fast you dumb fuck, so of course the driver could not anticipate you coming flying around the corner like that.
