How do I open the IRISnote (not the pen) to change battery. I know my products has been over the date of money back. I have to repair it by myself, but I can not find the way to change the battery of the unit.
@RockyChg If this were the case, like any products requiring batteries you are responsible for the replacement of them. It;s simple really. Take one to any electronics store and have them find some replacements for them and your good to go. Aside from that, all IRIS products are sold with a 30 day money back guarentee and a 1yr hardware warrenty. Ink and battery replacements are consumer responsibilities.
@RockyChg Manufacturing companies are responsible for designing them to use easily replacable components if neccissary just like the IRISnotes which comes with extra batteries and ink refills both of which are sold at most office supply stores accross the country!
@piteur There is a project going on to support it. It is a young project and some features are still being implemented. There seems to be packages for ubuntu. The software is called M210.
From the irislink website, it takes a standard ink refill. Ordered one tonight- can't wait to get it! It's a pain taking notes at a client site and then having to type them into the laptop when I get back to the hotel at night to send off as e-mails, etc.
